Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar established the 'Rajasthan Vidyapeeth' in 1937 to uplift the down-trodden common man in the feudal state of Mewar. Started as a night Study Centre for the Elementary, secondary and Advanced Courses in our national language Hindi, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth has grown into a large complex of more than 50 institutions spread over several districts of Rajasthan.

IASE university, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan

Maharshi Dayanand Univesity, Rohtak, Haryana (MDU)

The Maharshi Dayanand University initially known as Rohtak University, Rohtak was established by an Act of Legislature of Haryana in 1976 with the object to promote inter-discipline higher studies and research in the field of environmental, ecological and life sciences, initially it was a unitary and residential University, however, its character was changed to an affiliating University. It was named after the great revolutionist and social reformer Maharshi Dayanand and came to be known as Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

The University Grants Commission recognized this University under section 2(f) for the recognition of degrees and under section 12(b) of the University Grants Commission Act for central grants on Feb.2, 1983. Maharshi Dayanand Univesity B++ Grade with institutional score of 80.25

Maharshi Markendhswar Univesity, Ambala  (MMU)

Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana - Ambala, erstwhile known as Maharishi Markandeshwar Education Trust was founded with the objective of social, educational and economic upliftment of society in the year 1993, in the name of Lord Shiva’s devotee, “Maharishi Markandeshwar Ji”. MM University Trust, Mullana - Ambala has become a symbol of quality education in technical, professional and medical streams in northern India and has been carrying on its lineage for over 16 years. 

In exercise of powers conferred under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, the Central Government, on the advice of the University Grants Commission, has declared Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana – Ambala comprising ten of its teaching institutions, as “Deemed University” vide Notification No. F.9-65/2006-U.3 (A) dated 12-6-2007. The constituent institutions of the University are MM Engineering College; MM Institute of Computer Technology & Business Management (MCA); MM College of Dental Sciences & Research; MM Institute of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation; MM Institute of Computer Technology & Business Management (Hotel Management); MM Institute of Medical Sciences & Research; MM Institute of Management; MM College of Nursing; MM College of Pharmacy; and MM Institute of Nursing, Mullana, Ambala. These institutes are also approved by the regulatory bodies like Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Indian Nursing Council, Indian Association of Physiotherapists, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) etc.

Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar  (PTU)

Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar was established in January 1997 for advancement of technical education & development. The University has under its affiliation 71 Engineering & Architect, 117 Management & Hotel Management and 32 Pharmacy colleges. Punjab as been one of the most prosperous state in India ever since Independence by way of green and white revolution, however, this achievement was washed over due to insufficient and affordable technical manpower and absence of innovative upgradation in technologies the industries of the State logged behind as compared to other States like Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

To address this issue of Technical Manpower shortage and to usher into a new era of Industrial Development comparable to International Standards, the Punjab Government constituted Punjab Technical University (PTU) in 1997. The University was entrusted with the responsibility of developing the new generation of technical manpower that can spearhead the industrial development of the State. Punjab Technical University has been formed to be the grooming ground for the future Engineers, Managers and Researches.

As of today, PTU affiliates about 220 Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Hotel Management and Architecture colleges in the State that are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
